HO HO HO! The holiday season is landing in style at Marvel Stadium this December, with Stadium Square transforming into a magical Christmas wonderland – The North Pole featuring Pixar Putt.
Running from December 11 -23, The North Pole free live site will light up Stadium Square (Gate 2–3) at Marvel Stadium daily from 10am, inviting families and friends to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year.
At the heart of the festivities stands a spectacular nine-metre Pixar-themed Christmas tree featuring iconic elements from the films. Visitors will also be able to pose for photos alongside statues of some of their favourite characters and get involved in a festive activity station.
Adding to the colour and cheer, fans can explore 18 AFL Club-themed Christmas trees and indulge in festive eats and drinks from 8Bit and Friends of Fire.
Daily activities will be a key feature of The North Pole, including visits from Santa, who will take time out of his busy schedule to visit Marvel Stadium daily for free family photos, pop-up merchandise stalls and an opportunity to get a photo with the AFL Premiership Cup.
There will also be incredible prizes to win for everyone that purchases a round of Pixar Putt including a double pass to see Ed Sheeran at Marvel Stadium, a 12-month subscription to Disney+ or a signed guernsey of the AFL Club of your choice - throughout the 12 Days of the North Pole featuring Pixar Putt activation.
The festive fun continues with Pixar Putt landing at Marvel Stadium for its final season in Australia.
The pop-up mini-golf sensation is made up of interactive putt-putt holes inspired by the stories, characters, and icons from some of Pixar’s most beloved films including Toy Story, Cars, Monsters, Inc., The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, A Bug’s Life, Wall-E and Inside Out plus a new hole from Pixar’s upcoming release, Hoppers.
The experience is perfect for players of all ages and is set to become a popular destination during the school holiday season. And when the sun goes down, Pixar Putt After-Dark sessions will be available from Thursday to Saturday nights from 7:00pm-10:00pm, complete with a pop-up bar.
Pixar Putt will continue at Marvel Stadium through into the New Year and right up until Sunday, January 18 with it being a must-do activity for the upcoming school holidays!
