Marvel Stadium to host epic FREE Live Site for NBA Finals & FIFA World Cup 2026™
Marvel Stadium is set to become Melbourne's ultimate home of international sport this June and July, with a free live site at Stadium Square delivering two months of non-stop sport, featuring every game of the NBA Finals, all Australian World Cup group matches, and select FIFA World Cup 2026™ finals matches, broadcast live at Stadium Square.
Tipping off with Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs on Thursday, 4 June, Stadium Square at Marvel Stadium will be transformed into an action-packed live site with a purpose built 3x3 basketball court, and challenges and special appearances throughout the series. Fans will have the chance to go head-to-head with AFL players on Thursday.
Across the next two months, Stadium Square is set to feature:
- All Australia world cup group matches, select FIFA World Cup 2026™ finals matches and all games of the upcoming NBA Finals between New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs
- The Four’N Twenty 3x3 Basketball Court for fans to use throughout the NBA Finals, including fan challenges with AFL players ahead of tip off for Game 1 on Thursday June 4
- Live Entertainment: Basketball arcade games, live DJs, and an unbeatable stadium-square atmosphere.
- Premium Upgrades: VIP seating options for the ultimate viewing experience, including Super Sunday on June 14
- Game Day Eats and Activations: A wide range of food and beverage offerings, alongside partner activations from Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, Four’N Twenty, and Mountain Goat Beer.
- Coca-Cola Crowd Cast: Immersive FIFA World Cup 2026™ fan experience activation that recreates the atmosphere of a live stadium in real time. Featuring a branded Crowd-Cast seating structure, the activation features directional speakers that broadcast live crowd noises from the matches.

Super Sunday Bottomless Brunch on June 14 at Friends of Fire
For the ultimate experience, fans can elevate their weekend on Sunday, 14 June, with the Super Sunday Bottomless Brunch at Friends of Fire. Running throughout the blockbuster schedule (10:00am - 5:00pm), the ticket includes four hours of drinks, breakfast and lunch, while taking in the action of a potential NBA Finals Game 5 clash before the Australians opening game at the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
Super Sunday highlights:
- Four hours of all-inclusive food and drinks from 10:00am – 2:00pm pm
- Live broadcast of NBA Finals Game 5 (10.30am) AND Australia v Turkey (2:00pm)
- The option to stay on and catch the Round 14 AFL clash between St Kilda and the GIANTS from 3.15pm
