Marvel Stadium is pleased to announce it will once again host a free live site for Game One of the NBA Finals 2025 on Friday 6 June.
The screens in Stadium Square will beam Game One of the NBA Finals live from the US for fans of all ages to enjoy at Marvel Stadium’s 2025 NBA Finals Free Live Site.
The live site will feature a giant 257-inch screen to enjoy the game, delicious American themed food & beverages on offer, bars and coffee shops open including 8Bit Burgers, The Johnnie Walker Bar and EARL Canteen.
Stadium Square (Gates 2 & 3) will be transformed into the ultimate basketball experience with two half courts for fans to enjoy and NBA Merchandise available for fans to purchase.
In addition to the two half courts there will be a 3x3 Hustle basketball offering for fans to ‘let it rain’ from downtown during the game breaks.
This year’s live site is free to enter, no ticket required, and open to all ages. It will be open from 9:00am, with the game set to start at 10:30am.
Marvel Stadium GM Scott Fitzgerald said he is excited for the stadium to deliver another year of NBA finals experiences for fans, building on last year’s event as the best experience in the state to watch the opening game of the finals.
“After hosting thousands of fans for the NBA Finals Game One last year, we look forward to welcoming fans back to the redeveloped Stadium Square at Marvel Stadium for another unique NBA Finals experience,” Mr Fitzgerald said.
“This year’s free and non-ticketed event will allow fans of all ages and levels of interest to stop by to watch the game, enjoy the food and drink options, purchase merchandise or shoot some hoops with their mates.
“With some big home-grown names dominating over in the US recently, including Dyson Daniels and Josh Giddey, interest in the NBA in Australia has never been stronger, and Marvel Stadium is proud to provide this unique free offering for our local NBA fans.”
